MARKO PANZIC 

Marko Panzic is a Creative Director, Choreographer, Producer & Former Dancer. In 2008 Marko hit our TV screens in the 1st series of “So You Think You Can Dance” where he was a top 20 finalist. Marko returned for the 2nd, 3rd & 4th series as a featured choreographer.

Marko Panzic has Creatively Directed DJ HAVANA BROWNS support act production for CHRIS BROWN "F.A.M.E" Tour 2011, ENRIQUE IGLESIAS "Euphoria" Tour 2011 and PITBULL & TAIO CRUZ "Planet Pit" Australian Tour 2012. In 2023 Marko was appointed creative director for international superstar Keiynan Lonsdale, creating live performances for Vic Pride & Sydney World Pride live at the Domain. 

Marko Panzic's work has seen him choreograph many of Australia's top music video's and platinum selling songs including: "We Run The Night" Havana Brown, "Raining Diamonds", "Crazy" & "Do It Like That" Ricki-Lee, "Gotcha", "Pop A Bottle", "Can I Get A Moment", "Glow" Jessica Mauboy, "Regular Touch" & ""Temper" Vera Blue and "A**Hole" for New Zealand Artist Venice Qin.

Marko Panzic was named Artistic Director of "The Australian Dance Festival" held at Sydney Olympic Park 2012 - Present.

Marko returned to our TV screens in the Channel Ten Show "Everybody Dance Now" working along side International Superstar Kelly Rowland as her Dance Captain. 

In 2013 Marko travelled to JAPAN for Ricki Lee's "Fear & Freedom" Promo Tour. Performing in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and at ASTRO HALL in Harajuku.

Marko was appointed by Shine Australia to the role of PERFORMANCE PRODUCER on the Australian version of the hit TV shows "THE VOICE" Season 2 & 3 & "THE VOICE KIDS" for Network Nine. 

In 2014 Marko was selected to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark to choreograph & stage Australia's special guest performance at EUROVISION featuring the very talented Jessica Mauboy.

Marko also is the Artistic Director and Founder of Australia's first commercial dance company The Dream Dance Company. In 2015 the company created their first work "GENESIS" choreographed by Marko Panzic & Stephen Tannos. The company toured to Sydney, Gold Coast, Newcastle & Hobart. In 2016 Marko collaborated with New York City choreographer Candace Brown to create the second season "THE SECRET SOCIETY" which opened to rave reviews and toured to Sydney, Perth, Gold Coast and to a sell out audience at the Australian Dance Festival. In 2017 Marko joined powers with the incredible Sarah Boulter to bring "ENTER THE VORTEX" to Australian audiences for the third season for the company. Enter The Vortex toured to Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Bundaberg, Gold Coast, Canberra and Wellington New Zealand. 2018 Marko directed the intimate and raw production of "UNTOLD" with an All-Star Australian Dance Cast. In 2019 Marko teamed up with Australian Superstar Choreographer Caetlyn Watson for the project "GODDESS" touring to Sydney, Perth & Melbourne which included performing in the historic Fremantle Prison.  

 

In 2021 Marko Panzic selected Paris Cavanagh to come on board as the choreographer for the 2021 season of The Dream Dance Company. The show "ICON" was born. One of the companies most successful shows to date, Icon achieved a sold out season in Sydney which prompted a National tour in 2022. The Dream Dance Company toured in May 2022 to Perth "Crown Theatre", Adelaide "Her Majesty's Theatre", Gold Coast "HOTA" and the final stop SYDNEY STATE THEATRE. The company sold out the 2000 seat theatre in a record timing of 24 hours. A huge accomplishment for the company. 

 

In October 2022 The Dream Dance Company collaborated with one of Australia's top creative movement directors Matthew Gode. Creating one of the most unique dance events in Australia live at Sydney Town Hall. 

In addition to The Dream Dance Company, Marko has created a nationally recognised training program "SHOW | BUSINESS" which is a pre-professional 3 month training program in Sydney, Australia.  

 

Marko has travelled nationally & internationally teaching at many dance conventions including HDI Australia, Nexus USA, In10sity Dance Convention USA, Ziegler Australian Tour 2017/2018 and Get The Beat Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines.
